About me

My name is Jakob - or Jake - or Jack. Fittingly, I was called "Jack of all trades" in the past; I tried many things: video editing, motion graphics, filming, music. Nothing ever really stuck, and it took me an entire bachelor's degree in engineering to make me feel like I could become an expert in something. Now I design PCBs, write code for embedded systems or wield the soldering iron. With amazing technology, affordable and right at our fingertips, not making anything became a foreign concept to me. That's why I spend most of my time inventing useful and cool gadgets, devices and programs. That coupled with my love for explaining concepts to young and old led me to the creation of this website and my YouTube channel.
